WASTE AND RESEARCH

The assignment was the site of the current sorting plant in a small village near Mělník Hořín. We decided to deal with the problem of waste in the construction industry by connecting the sorting plant to a research center where new ways of using waste are developed. We have designed a route through the buildings intended for public tours. One of the most important elements of our project is the steel grid, which allows the panels to be hung on the facade. It represents the research center, serves as a testing ground for the developed materials and at the same time as an attraction for the public. By the design of the walkways and bridges, we try to guide the visitors through all the interesting parts, so that they can see both the research process and the sorting and recycling process.
