Husovo Square – searching

Where is the square of Český Brod? A small Czech town in the Central Bohemian Region, with more than 2.6m² of town square for each of its 7,423 inhabitants. The concept of the whole area of the two connected squares of Český Brod already shows that such a large area cannot serve as a town square in the way we think of a town square. This project focuses on only one part of the square, called Husovo Square. The main compositional element becomes several groups of trees that better define the smaller spaces, giving the important buildings that this square hosts the space to adequately express their importance and beauty.
