Student Housing Flora

Annotation

Student Housing Flora represents a modern and functional architectural design located at the corner of Jičinská and Slezská streets. The aim of the project is to create comfortable housing for students that will support their academic and social life. A water tank located in the center of the plot and the development in three corners restrict construction; therefore, the eastern parts of the building are elevated on V-shaped columns. The two-story ground floor features a café with a library that serves as a social and educational space for residents and the public. From the second floor upwards, there are corridor-access apartments designed for students. A significant element of the design is the connecting bridge between the two parts of the building, which functions as a community space.
