A new structure is being built along the route of the original wall, which may resemble the original fortification, but has little in common with the old wall in its content and function. Namely, it tries to connect the historical centre of Broumov with its surrounding buildings. Therefore, instead of a defensive function, an impenetrable wall, it brings new cultural, sports and commercial centres with new staircases, terraces and other public spaces. It is complemented by additional non-residential spaces and housing.
