Long live Broumov!

Cliffs, chimneys, chapels - this is how Broumov can be described in three words. It’s a natural and architectural pearl of the Hradec Králové Region. However, due to the remote location and lack of vacancies, the population is declining. Our goal was to revive the city and make it more attractive not only for tourists, but for future residents. The project focuses on creating new public spaces, supplementing the urban structure and increasing city accommodation capacity. These three aims are intended to support cultural and community life. A key step is the connection of the city with the river Stěnava. The proposal includes the reclamation of its waterfront and the development of four localities: an industrial island, a park, an entrance to the city and a new residential district.
