The building of the original Broumov brewery is situated near the baroque monastery, which today houses the Broumovsko Museum, which we are planning to expand with our design. In the western part of the building, there is an elementary art school, which we are relocating to a more centralized location near the surrounding schools. The entire building is connected by a walkable roof in the central part, where we are creating a coworking space, studios, and other facilities. The main idea of the design is the insertion of three glass blocks that serve as communication spaces, ensuring permeability and easy orientation within the building. At the same time, they clearly define the extent of the proposed intervention and reveal the original structural principles of the building to visitors.
