Social housing

The designated area is located on the left bank of the Otava River in the town of Písek. The social housing is located at the corner of Pražská and Dvořáková streets near the roundabout. The main idea of the concept responds to the social needs of the town's residents and its form is inspired by the surrounding urban layout. In front of the apartment building, there is a paved square with an underpass leading from the square to a garden. The apartment building has a corridor layout with 4 above-ground floors and 1 underground floor. The building is connected by 2 separate staircases and an exterior elevator. The building contains exactly 37 apartments, 3 shops with facilities, and an underground parking garage.
