AIRBAGA

The seat of the chair is made of an airbag, the test firing of which defines its shape for me. I bent and welded the structure from scraps of old iron and filled the cushion with a discarded mattress. In this way, I combine the lightweight, breathable material of the airbag to provide comfort with the heavy construction that keeps the chair firmly planted to the ground.The airbags have beautiful stitched details on them and each one is almost unique. Stitching creates graphic details on the cushions, and the vent inlet hole is used to fill with foam and anchor it over the profile with screws. The material is very strong and suitable for washing - it is also perfect for a dog bed. The whole set is made up of three pieces of furniture that have been gradually shaped by the found material.
