Living by the river

The assignment for the summer semester focuses on the revitalization of the Výstaviště in Písek, located on the left bank of the Otava River. This area is currently used mainly for sports and recreational purposes, but it also includes a primary school, a house for the elderly, a municipal police building and a cemetery. The aim of our project is to completely transform the middle belt of this area to provide a pleasant environment for new life. The proposal includes the construction of three new blocks, two residential and one parking block. These changes are designed to improve the housing situation in the city of Písek and at the same time increase the parking capacity, which the city desperately needs.
