FROM PRAGUE - BY FOOT AND BY BICYCLE

The main idea of the project is to create a network of cycle paths in the countryside that will provide a logical, safe and pleasant connection between smaller settlements between Prague and Kladno, such as Hostivice, Červený Újezd, Jeneč and Unhošt'. The goal is to enable daily commuting and recreation for locals and tourists. The project also includes the creation of more entrances for cyclists into the Křivoklátsko protected landscape area. In addition to the cycle paths, the project also includes footpaths, which have been designed mainly using historical paths. The whole proposal is also linked to railway stations. Emphasis is placed on integration with the surrounding environment, safety and continuity of the routes, all with a view to minimal interference in the landscape.
