The urban project for Skalka highlights the potential for urban life at the edge of the city and the industrial landscape. It leverages the connection of two Prague radials leading to the city center and develops the area through improved transport links. Currently, the main street is traffic-heavy, so the plan includes a southern bypass per the zoning plan. The proposal transforms industrial and "non-urban" structures, enhancing Skalka's urban boundary. It introduces a new boulevard with notable landmarks. The hard boundary becomes a promenade with a green urban belt. A pedestrian zone in the new development and reurbanized public spaces near metro line A meet current demands for quality urbanism.
