The Frames

For this film school and dormitory project the choice was made to adopt an architectural form similar to that of the surrounding blocks for the external shape of the project. One of the aims of this project was to conserve the existing buildings on the plot and incorporate them into our design. The program was divided into 3 parts, with the production part of the film school to the north, the pre-production part of the school to the south, and the dormitories to the east and west. All these parts of the building are linked by several footbridges. The facades have been designed to create a sense of unity and an urban dimension to the project, while at the same time providing privacy for the dorms, thanks to the sunshade slats.
