SWIMMING POOL ON KAMPA

The architectural design draws upon the strong historical and sporting traditions of the location in the heart of Malá Strana, Prague. The proposed building integrates into the Sokol complex of Michnův Palace and Tyršův House, creating new dimensions and opportunities for sports and recreation development. The building program is primarily divided into three parts, addressing various needs for sports and recreational activities. The design includes an underground connection to the indoor pool situated beneath the Tyršův House gym. Between the narrow mass and the hotel opposite, a space for a swimming pool is created, above which is a recreational pool on a bridge structure, allowing swimming at the level of the treetops and extending over Čertovka.
