Development of the Václav Suburb

The project focuses on the urban development of the Wenceslas Suburb in the town of Písek. The suburb is situated on the left bank of the Otava River, approximately 1.2 km from the historic centre. It was the original founding of the town of Písek. The town's oldest church, the Church of St. Wenceslas, is located there. There are also the Lesnická School with a listed arboretum and the Municipal Sports Complex. The project deals with the design of new locations connected to the current development, and tries to solve the connection to the expressways, which will completely cut off the suburbs from the surroundings after the construction of the northern bypass.
