Kindergarten - ZLÍN

The design of the kindergarten in the centre of Zlín is situated in the south-eastern corner of Komenského Park, where it is connected to the existing playground, thus visually closing the park on the south-eastern side. Together with the existing Club 2004 building (originally a burgher school, later a library) and the newly proposed primary art school, at the eastern boundary of the park, it completes the street profile of the opposite block of houses. It is a two-storey U-shaped building with an open garden space orientated towards the pedestrian zone from which the nursery school is accessed.
