Retirement home. Is it home?
Can living far away from ones family and friends ever become something remotely resembling home? How is a person supposed to feel safe in a space they aren't familiar with? The main focus of retirement homes should be creating spaces for the residents, not their visitors. A safe space where i can have fun, be vulnerable and where i like being. A place where time isn't spent just by waiting for the next visit. A place where i can get better. physically and mentally. The ' ill ' place Zenklova.
