The aim of this project was to create a car concept primarily intended for use by a person in a wheelchair. It was necessary to consider dimensions, the method of entering and exiting, and the overall layout of the vehicle.
The overall goal was to create a concept where the design process accounted for users with specific needs from the very beginning. The entire vehicle concept was designed with minimal negative impact on aesthetics and the overall perception, ensuring it doesn't immediately appear as a vehicle used by someone with a mobility impairment.
The final design addresses boarding with a sliding platform for wheelchairs, allowing easy entry and exit. Thanks to the sliding system, the user in a wheelchair can choose whether to drive the vehicle or be a passenger.
