Courtyard Postoloprty

The proposal deals with the reuse of the currently dilapidated area of the Baroque courtyard and at the same time with the revival of cultural activities in Postoloprty. The yard, made up of several different buildings, aims to become a new community, cultural and educational center. Museum, exhibitions, balls, concerts, children's clubs,...coffee? Existing objects are assigned a new function, but in such a way that the overall character of the area is disturbed as little as possible. A cultural hall in a barn, a museum in the stalls, exhibitions under the roof of the stables... The dominant feature of the entire area is the shed located right in the middle of the yard. It is currently bricked up. The design gets rid of the brick lining, thus restoring the original silhouette.
