MICHN'S CUP

The main mass of my project is the roof, structurally placed on four massive concrete columns carrying steel beams on which a reinforced lattice plate is laid. As a roof, I chose ETFE foil, which, with its diffusive ability, illuminates the multi-functional court, primarily used as a basketball court. Around of the structure are suspended steel profiles filled with mesh, which add transparency to the structure and lighten it at the same time. From the south, the structure is closed by a mass in which there is a reception with changing rooms, a cafe and a small yoga room. The mass is axially divided into two tracts, between which the corridor in the exterior is connected to brick, blue-painted walkways that connect the mass to the roof structure.
