ART FROM WASTE

The intention was to play with the contrast between the ugly and the beautiful, specifically between waste and art. My plan for developing the waste sorting facility in Hořín involved creating studios and a gallery where artists could transform ugliness into beauty. The goal is to turn the sorting station into something interesting that will attract visitors. They will not only be able to view and purchase artworks made from waste but also immerse themselves in the chaotic beauty of the creation process by visiting the artists' workshops. Through their works, artists will convey messages about rejecting excessive consumption and the necessity of sorting and recycling waste.
