This opener uses space between the neck of the bottle and the bottle cap. Sliding expansion and a certain amount of kinetic energy resolve into popping out the bottle cap.
The hole in the opener is lasered, the slope is sanded on a belt sander and the bridge is made of a welded steel tube.
