Donation- collection of Furoshiki scarfs

Annotation

Giving is commonplace in today's society. Birthday, Christmas, holiday or anniversary, we always find a reason to gift our loved ones. We think more about what we buy for the person than the expression of affection and gratitude we harbor for him or her. We feel that the more gifts we buy, the more affection we show to the person. Do we give gifts out of love or out of obligation? Furoshiki is a Japanese tradition of wrapping objects in cloth. In collaboration with a blueprint workshop in Strážnice, I created a collection of 3 scarves for wrapping gifts, which reveal an intimate message when the object is unwrapped. Thus, in addition to the gift, we also dedicate a few sincere words to the gifted person, which sometimes come out of our mouths with difficulty.
