HOSPICE FOR CHILDREN

In Veleslavín, on a slope near the Chládek gardening center, a space is being created that embodies home in its deepest essence – a children's hospice. The building, although integral, is composed of individual "houses", each of which bears a gable roof. This symbolism emphasizes that each child here has their own space, their own home. In this way, the project naturally follows the character of the surrounding buildings and at the same time offers children privacy and security. The robustness of the structure offers certainty, while the interior details and lighting nuances emphasize subtlety. The design emphasizes clarity and clarity without losing sensitivity. The proposal respects the uniqueness of its inhabitants, their need for choice and space to live, share and separation.
