Asylum Housing

The analytical part of diploma thesis focuses on the issue of asylum housing, with a special emphasis on facilities for mothers with children. The work examines their general function, typology and significance in the context of social housing, while reflecting current trends in the field of sustainability and inclusion. The analysis also includes a specific examination of the location in the Prague district of Ďáblice, where the design of the shelter is planned. The location is set in the environment of a panel housing estate, which places specific demands on the architectural and urbanistic approach. The analysis deals with the needs of the target group, the availability of services, integration into the community and sustainable principles in the design.
