Annotation
A hotel, a police station, a church; once behind a wall. There used to be a pond. The future boulevard. The building responds to all this, it’s Žižkov, but in its own way. With a briolite facade and a slanted roof, each apartment has its own outdoor space, with views of Parukářka and the cemetery. At Olšanská, the building is solid and completing the street's corner. It separates the street bustle from the courtyards behind. There, buildings are lower, with balconies and informality. It’s a Žižkov house, where football is played on the square and beer is drunk on the loggia.
