Kindergarten Pragovka

This is the place where a child gets to know its first friends, learns poems and for the first time discovers the world without his mom. The building must provide safety, warmth, comfort and entertainment. When designing the nursery, I tried to connect these requirements with the aesthetic appearance of the building, which is derived from the historical context of the site. The abandoned industrial area of the ČKD and PRAGA factories is the bearer of the industrial atmosphere, as well as the cultural and social prominence of the entire territory. The industrial atmosphere of this area needs to be protected and strengthened, so I decided to use the elements to imitate the appearance of these technical and factory buildings. The kindergarten offers six beautiful, spacious and bright classes.
