Annotation

The Old Town in Prague was significantly impacted by sanitation interventions in the last century, leaving voids in the urban fabric and unfinished street lines. This design responds to the situation with its shape, scale, and color scheme. Prominent cornices connect the building to the surrounding houses, creating harmony within the street space. The proportions and sizes of the windows, along with the use of pilasters on the façade, further ensure that the building does not disrupt the historical character of the area. The building's projection over the street, ending with an oriel at the corner—repeated at the rear—adds dynamism to the structure while reflecting elements of historical architecture.
