Staropramen

Annotation

The building on the Staropramen brewery warehouse site merges existing and new functions. To the west, it offers sports facilities (tennis, basketball, badminton courts), a hall, a climbing wall, and a gallery. To the east, Svornosti Street gains commercial spaces, a Staropramen pub, and a parkhouse. A hockey arena replaces Nikolajka to the south. Apartments (student housing, 2-, 3-, and 5-bedroom units) have open layouts, large glass areas, and double-skin facades, with loggias serving as terraces in summer and gardens in winter. Students share a garden and clubhouse; some have private gardens and ev rooftop gyms. The extended Na Valentince Street opens opens it to the riverside. Parking and storage adapt to pathways, and the modular grid allows future changes in function and scale.
