Homes by the Square

The "Houses by the Square" project consists of a set of buildings surrounding the proposed Hrabal Square, located in Prague 8. These are residential buildings with commercial spaces on the ground floor. On the western side is Building L, known as the “House Above the Supermarket,” while on the eastern side stands Building A, referred to as the “Gallery Walkway House.” The volumes of the buildings were designed to ensure access to sunlight for all proposed apartments. The square, located between these buildings, is divided into two sections with different surfaces. The western side is designated for motor vehicle access, while the remainder of the square is reserved for pedestrians. The square is enlivened by seven Japanese cherry trees.
