Colony. Community. Life together. This project revives the historical Alexander Colony, once home to mining families near the Alexander Mine in Ostrava. Inspired by their shared way of life, it blends past values with modern needs.
At the heart of the colony is a community center, offering spaces for creative workshops, socializing, learning, and relaxation. Its design reflects Ostrava's industrial heritage. This project reimagines the spirit of the miners' colony.
