Regional Study – The Settlement Structure Concept for Municipality with Extended Competence Benešov (ORP Benešov)

The regional study focuses on the division of centers of settlement structure in the ORP Benešov area for the period up to 2045. It considers both the ongoing demographic trends in the region and the trends expected from new highway and railway connections to Prague. The centers are categorized based on the number of residents they serve and the availability of basic public amenities . In addition to these centers, the study also identifies areas with varying development potentials. The outcome of the study is a proposal to add certain public amenities and define type of transportation for daily commuting to access public services and amenities.
