I apply two forms of the Line concept - solid and dashed lines - to existing city blocks. I explore in phases and scales to the extreme of applying the concept. New potentials and possibilities are revealed, neglected or poorly used inner blocks are made accessible as a counterpoint to the densification of the urban fabric, new public, semi-public or community spaces are created and connected to the street network. The impacts on residential daylighting and glare, the advantages, pros and cons are examined.
