Hangar

The main inspiration for the design was the engineering character of Norman Foster's early works, which is also reflected in the pavilion's openness and the lightness of its construction. The semi-open hall, featuring a self-supporting perforated shell reminiscent of a hangar, contains an upper-level structure supported by slender columns. A staircase leads to a platform with a viewpoint, followed by a room with a front-facing window and overhead skylights.
