Temporary Residence for Artists with a Gallery

The project is designed for an estate in the region of Baba, Prague 6. The project is conceptually designed as a house with a gallery intended as a temporary residence of artists. Following the criteria of sustainable architecture the house design aims to provide the best possible usage of solar energy. Having passed through the main entrance, the visitor can enter a room with an information desk. When going further, a spacious area of gallery opens. From the gallery one can directly enter a winter garden. From the lower floor of the winter garden, it is possible to enter three public-accessible studios. Three studio apartments of equal size are located in the lowest floor. There are a lot of spectacular panoramic views of Prague from some of the parts of the building.
