Art gallery Baba

The gallery is situated in the Baba settlement. The Baba settlement is a first republic functionalist villa colony in the southeast part of the Baba in Prague's Dejvice. The intention was to create a three-storey foundation house, where artists could live, work, and present their work in the interior of a public gallery. It was important to enable visitors to observe the work of artists, but at the same time to maintain certain privacy for the development of ideas and undistributed living. Important elements of the building are glass surfaces across the south side, which provide a beautiful view of nature and the entire Prague.
