Affordable Housing Strupčice

This project is part of a plan to build a new district in the village of Strupčice. The intention was to create affordable housing for families who prefer a quiet village environment over a busy city. The family house is designed for a parent with two children and all their needs. Emphasis was placed on a common space where the family can spend free time together. It consists of a living room, the character of which is underlined by a gallery, connecting the ground floor and first floor. The gallery complements the simplicity and openness of the whole building. Upstairs there is a children's room with a master bedroom and a bathroom. There is a seating area between the rooms which offers a view of the garden as well as the common area between the surrounding houses.
