Annotation

The spatial arrangement is based on the attachment of private rooms to a free-flowing social space, which is divided into functional zones to minimize the sensory environment. This gives a feeling of clarity and routine. There are “escape places” for rest and observation, where one feels safe and calm. All these spaces are situated around the inner garden, which fills the spaces with light and air, brings nature. There clients will be in sight of staff. The house is opened to the exterior from all sides; the green roof enlarges the upper terrace and hides the house in a hill. The whole yard is fenced including the roof terrace. So the interior and the exterior make an integrated space, separated from the world of other people. The shape of the house fit the terrain and the context as well.
