House for an artist

The house is designed for Blixa Bargeld, a musician, and his family. It is situated on a moderate slope in Hanspaulka district in Praha-Dejvice. There is a beautiful view of the city from this spot. The house consists of two separate parts which are connected by a lower middle part where the main entrance is. From the street you can walk through the passage in it to the back garden. From the west part of the house you can see through glass walls of the middle lower part to the east part of the house. The east part of the complex is the studio, the west part is the living area for the family.
