House with a studio

I designed a house for a painter and his wife. My intention was to create a place for creative work, but also family well-being in a pleasant environment. The building is located in Prague-Dejvice, in the Hanspaulka area, in Na Kodymce street. The plot is slightly sloping, oriented north-south and offers beautiful views of Prague. The whole building consists of four reinforced concrete frames delimiting the volume of the house. The building is horizontally divided into two parts - a living room on the first floor and a studio on the ground floor. Both parts have their own specific environment, and although they are in one house, they make it possible to separate undisturbed work and private life.
