Dancers House

Client Alice and Marek are professional dancers. They want to start family life without giving up on practicing dancing. Design One enters both the house and the dancing studio through a corridor from the street, which assures complete privacy in the whole garden. On the first floor is a majestic dancing hall 20x14m. General dimensions of the house are given by these proportions. Family house is situated above the dancing hall. The stairs from the corridor separate the building into two parts - a living room and two child rooms are in the left part, which overlooks Prague. Kitchen, bathrooms and dormitory are situated in the right part, which has a view of the garden. The gap between the two parts of the building allows much appreciated daylight into the rooms.
