THE SHELTER

The purpose of the building was to create a personal space to help us realize during the lockdown. Everyone is trying to escape from this strange time in a different way. My form of escape and self-realization is being in nature. I like to walk in it, or just feel the energy from it. I designed a shelter, which should be a stop on the way in nature. It is possible to drink a tea inside with beautiful view and go on the way again, or you can stay there for a few days and relax from this difficult time. The shelter is on wooden columns, which allow a better view and at the same time they move the building closer to the treetops. The overhanging part is the main connection between the building and the surroundings.
