Meditation space

Bc. Anna Holubová

Annotation

„When you own your breath, nobody can steal your peace.“ Meditation can be defined as a way of heightening one’s state of concentration. The goal is to reach composure and tranquility. The spaces used for such practice are quite unique. Each individual has to find one, in which they feel the most peaceful. The concept of a meditative gallery. A capacious and relaxing room. The focus point of the gallery is an atrium full of flowers, in which the stairs leading to all the other floors are found. The halls are built into a letter L shape. and they are located in the same area on each floor. The halls appear quite narrow compared to the rest of the space. Nonetheless, they are still well lit, because of the light coming in from the patio.
