The second sight

How to combine the former Vrapice sludge reservoir and the emotions of the Podhůra landscape in one project? This was the most difficult task in creating this proposal. The concrete reservoir is situated east of Kladno on the border of the forest and the industrial zone with a landfill. The reservoir itself is a gray scar on the face of the surrounding forest, gradually overgrown with invasive vegetation. But it is still a popular place for joggers and dog walkers. Podhůra, on the other hand, is a picturesque, whole, popular, often used landscape without industrial elements, gradually moving to the Orlické Mountains. I tried to transfer these qualities to the very bottom of the concrete giant, at least in the emotional level.
