A GALLERY FOR MAT COLLISHAW

The gallery is located in an urban area and it is dedicated to the British artist, Mat Collishaw. Based on the way he likes to exhibit his works, the exhibition spaces are designed to be suitable both for his installations, which require a lighted environment, and for his photographs, which, on the contrary, he most often exhibits in slightly darker rooms. The room, in which there is a large staircase, designed for sitting, is an ideal place for possible lectures or openings as the person speaking will be visible to the audience from the adjoining rooms aswell, for they are separated only by a different height level and a parapet. In the basement of the building, there is a cafe available to the visitors. The principle of the gallery is raumplan.
