Sauna

The sauna is located next to the pond Eliška in Prague in Horní Počernice. I wanted to design building for this location with the aim of rest and relaxation. It is equipped with an entrance hall with storage space, dressing room, toilet, shower and sauna room. A pond can be used as a cooling pool. The entrance to the pond is accessible directly from the sauna room. The material of the sauna is completely natural to fit into the selected environment. It is lined with heat-treated wood-thermowood, including the roof, to withstand the humid conditions of the pond. The sauna faces to the pond through a large window so that the person has a beautiful view of nature.
