ZIŽKOV FREIGHT STATION - A WILDERNESS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY

The family house is situated at the Žižkov freight station. It is designed for a family of 4 and includes a small veterinary surgery. The house is based on a block, from which the mass is taken in the back, where a terrace was created, the same volume is extended from the front of the house, where the office space and a mutual covered entrance for both parts of the house were created. The first floor of the living area consists of common areas, while the second of private spaces and a terrace. The surgery is divided into a waiting room and a surgery room. The surgery is connected to the house through the entrance hall of the residential part of the house, but has a separate entrance for the public. The facade of the house consists of a plaster of sand colour with windows with dark frames.
