Café Na Strazi

Vrbice, a small Moravian village, which at first glance resembles the scenery from J. R. R. Tolkien's books, has become a popular destination for tourists and cyclists, who in addition to views of the surrounding landscape, also seek refreshment in the local wine cellars. Café Na Stráži is a space in which the lives of local residents clash with the lives of tourists arriving hungry for a rest and refreshment after a difficult journey. It is located on top of a hill, on the site of an old disused fire station near the church and the adjacent cemetery, where it naturally becomes a new functional center of public and local events. The design deals with the building of a café with a small multifunctional hall, the square in front of the church and the hilltop areas in their vicinity.
