HOUSE FOR A WOOD CARVER

The main course of my work was to design a comfortable and livable space for a residential living for a wood carver with a scholarship. Concept of the design roots in the nature itself. Since wood carver works with wood, there can be spotted many columns, which are supposed to imitate a tree's trunk. House consists 3 stories. The main entrance is located on the ground floor, which may be used for welcoming guests. The -1st floor is dedicated for hard work and art of wood carver. Since carving wood may be considered as noisy and dusty work, the ground floor is constructed as divider or insulation between studio and living area, which is on the 1st floor. That way, working and living in this house can exist in a perfect harmony.
