MORTAR & PESTLE/LAMPSHADE

One of the semester projects was the design of a mortar and pestle. I tried to conceive my design so that it is as practical and at the same time aesthetically interesting, which is the basis of its shape. The function of this mortar is exclusively for crushing spices and herbs. The second task was to design a lampshade for our chosen type of light. It was important to work with the qualities of the selected light source - light temperature, luminosity, or scattering of light rays. My goal was to create an easy-to-assemble shade (ideally from one piece of paper) that would work easy to place on a standard bulb socket.
