The main focus of my design was the complete separation of work spaces and living spaces. A clear definition of working hours and past time. This is achieved through a long staircase descending into the north-oriented studio in the lowest level. A tall window and a glass railing create a beautiful lightshow especially at the end of the day when the artist is going back upstairs.
